Agreed, being frugal is important, but it isn’t enough by itself. I’ve heard it said that some people like to spend money and others like to amass it. The first will struggle no matter how much they earn. But you can’t save your way to riches earning minimum wage, either. You need income so you have money to invest. This can come from a good salary or a business you own/start, but you need to earn more than you spend and invest the difference well to build wealth.
