All first movers eventually succumb to that capitalist force called competition. Now that Tesla has proven there is a market for high-end EVs (not just science nerds as customers), others will start to crowd the space and margins will drop. Tesla has made good progress, but in a field with essentially no competition. Now that the game is actually on, we will see how it manages.
