Daemon, no worries and thanks for the question. I’m glad you are paying attention! It is very important to identify the stock you want to own and the price you are willing to pay before selling puts. That is how you remove the risk. Otherwise you will get stuck with some stocks you don’t really want at prices you didn’t want to pay. I use traditional value investing (Ben Graham style) to analyze companies and find acquisition targets.
