Definitely the term “passive income” is way overused. Most things being peddled as passive are in fact quite active, like writing on Medium, drop shipping, etc. I spend WAY more time writing on Medium (and for FAR less reward) than I do on my rental properties. The idea is to take active income and turn it into passive income.
