Exactly, incentives matter. When some states choose to tax their residents into poverty, it won't take long for those residents to fund sunnier pastures. It's not just taxes either, cost of living in Texas (where I am from) and Florida is substantially less than California and New York. It's no surprise that the moving trucks have been headed our way.
