Good article. it's important for people to realize that passive income takes a lot of work! Owning a portfolio of single-family rentals is great, but building that portfolio is a ton of work and requires cash. The point is not so much to "retire" early, but to be able to do work that you choose on your terms, rather than on the terms for a corporation.
