Good overview. I quickly lost my shirt buying options last year and changed my strategy to selling options. I was able to do quite well and generate decent cash flow at the same time. For me the trick is setting yourself up to win no matter the outcome. I sell puts on stocks I want to own at prices I’m happy to pay. I keep the premium either way, but worst case is I get assigned the stock and make money on it, selling calls at prices I’m happy to sell along the way. Truly a powerful system!
