Wisdom can often come in small packages, and wisdom about building wealth is no different.

Today’s quote is from Simon Sinek, celebrated author and inspirational speaker:

“Working hard for something we don’t care about is called stress. Working hard for something we love is called passion.”

There is a big difference between doing something just for money and doing something that adds value and that we enjoy.

Working 40 hours per week at a job you don’t like, just to get a paycheck, is stressful.

Working 60 hours per week on a project that you know will make the world a better place can be fun.

Most of us are not born with the financial means to do what we love without regard for money, but investing can get us there.

If we fall in love with investing, we can build meaningful wealth over time that allows us to reduce stress and find our passion.

To me, investing is not as much about making money as it is making time to do something important.

You may want to spend more time with your kids while they are young, or exercise more to get in better…
