David, good discussion, but I don’t really agree. Warren Buffett reads 8 hours per day pretty much every day of the year and has contributed that to his success. Pretty sure he never had a coach outside of Ben Graham (teacher and boss) or Dale Carnigie for public speaking. Bill Gates reads all the time. Charlie Munger reads all the time. There might be some level of people below them that don't read, but most very successful people read constantly.

I'm not Charlie Munger, but I've made multiple-seven figures from the information I found in books. Nothing against coaches, but a few hundred dollars worth of good books can make you rich many times over.
