I would say that this is mostly true except for your aversion to real estate, which I’m guessing comes from a lack of knowledge and experience. Real estate is hands down the best way for regular people to get rich. It is MUCH easier to be successful in real estate than starting a business. Of course you have to know what you are doing and be prudent with leverage, but it is far less risky than business and produces much higher returns than index funds.
