If You Want To Build Wealth, Stay True To Yourself

Wealth inspiration #44

Wisdom can often come in small packages, and wisdom about building wealth is no different.

Today’s quote is from Steve Jobs, the legendary founder of Apple:

“Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice.”

This is an important lesson to learn in life.

It is far too easy to change our ideas and our behaviors because of criticism or praise from others.

Many great ideas sound crazy at first, which is what makes them great ideas.

If they didn’t sound crazy, then everyone would be doing it, which would make it a normal idea, not a great one.

But you don’t have to start massive companies to use this advice. The same applies to regular investing in the stock market.

When everyone tells you the world is ending, should you listen to them?

Or should you follow your own path based on what you know is right?

Don’t follow the crowd, and you will do well in investing and in life.
