Important discussion. I think the typical advice is too simplistic. What you love may not generate any meaningful income. I love photography, but to make it as a photographer (I have tried and failed), is very difficult. I also love real estate. I have made much more money for much less work in real estate than photography. So not all passions are made equal! Maybe people should try to love something that can build some wealth in addition to things they love just for fun.
