Important lesson. The other items against trading/gambling are fees and taxes. You have to significantly outperform the long-term investor just to break even when trading. This makes it a losing game from the start, just like gambling in a casino. The odds are stacked against you. Much better to play a game with a higher chance of winning, which long-term investing is.
