Interesting thought. I've lived abroad for most of my adult life, and much of it in unconventional places like Africa. I can't say I felt any need to leave my home (USA), but I've always loved travel, learning languages, cultures, etc. So it was just more fun. Living in the US is kinda boring for me at this point. Not bad, just uninspiring. Maybe that is the same thing in the end...
