As I get closer to pulling the plug, my plan is to start selling off my houses and passively investing in private real estate deals. I wrote an article on the subject a while back in case you are interested. I’m not a big fan of REIT’s as they behave more like a stock than real estate, but Fundrise, Realty Mogul and similar platforms can be a good way to invest. If you are accredited, I would recommend going directly to a sponsor rather than a platform. But if you are not accredited, then a platform is a good way to go.
