Joe, thanks for reading and excellent question! In terms of platforms, I have only used Realty Mogul. The experience has been ok, but not great. A lot depends on the actual sponsor group and how they communicate. I can only advise to look for a sponsor that has a lot of experience on that platform and in the type of project they are offering. You still have to do your due diligence and read everything carefully before investing. Good luck and let me know how it goes!
