Liz, thanks for sharing. I've always been a more traditional real estate investor (rentals), but I do know that notes can be quite lucrative if you know what you are doing.

Question, where do you find these non-performing loans for sale that an individual investor can buy? My limited research so far with lenders hasn't turned up much (most seem to sell them in bulk to large organizations with lots of cash, etc).
