Ryan, I agree 100%. Economies like Nigeria and Angola need to diversify. I used to live in Angola, and they didn't even have a tourist visa until about 3 or 4 years ago even though they have great beaches and other touristic potential. Too much focus on oil because it is relatively easy money, but it makes for an unbalanced economy, and it won't last forever.
Dubia is a great example of a country that used its oil wealth to fund a much broader economy. Norway too. Unfortunately Africa is far behind on using their resources for real development.
