Thanks for the detailed response. I would be interested in seeing the data on BTC ownership in countries with high inflation. What I have seen, it is minimal. This report (dated 2019) shows less than 5% of global BTC activity comes from latin america, Africa, and Asia outside of South Korea and Japan. So the places where it could be the most useful are not involved in any significant way (unless that has changed significantly since 2019), and 95% of the activity is in developed countries with low inflation, meaning the ativity is more based on speculation than usefulness. I wish it were the opposite, as I do think there is a use for BTC in the developing world where governments cannot manage their finances, but I haven’t seen any data to support that yet.
