There are several countries with higher growth rates (https://statisticstimes.com/demographics/countries-by-population-growth-rate.php) and of course this surge at the border is not likely permanent. However, we desperately need workers, and our government (both parties) have done a shameful job in not finding a solution. Make it easier for people to come legally to help build our economy, then strengthen border security at the same time. Seems obvious. I guess that’s why I’m not a politician!
