Can people make money speculating? Sure, but it is very different than investing in a business that produces something and has a stream of cash flow. The price of bitcoin is driven 100% by human emotion, and trying to predict human emotion is a difficult thing.

Investing is not about trying to get rich quick, it is about trying to get rich for sure. Bitcoin doesn’t meet that hurdle.
