Vik, thank you for sharing. You are pointing out what so many of us have learned over the years, that the mainstream advice of going to school and getting a good job is NOT how you get rich. Knowledge about money and investing is what is required. There are doctors that makes hundreds of thousands of dollars per year that have nothing to show for it except fany cars. There are janitors that build up million dollar accounts through prudent investing.

I wish you well and hope that you focus on a financial education now that you have your traditional education. It will pay you more than your salary once you get going!
