Want To Live Off Of Investment Income?
Wealth inspiration part 16.
Wisdom can often come in small packages, and wisdom about building wealth is no different. Today I have two related quotes for you on the same topic about how to live off of investment income.
Today’s first quote is from Grant Cardone, the famous author and real estate investor:
“Money is simple. Buy cash flow producing assets.”
The second quote is from Robert Kiyosaki, another famous author and personal finance coach:
“The middle-class invest for capital gains. The rich invest for cash flow.”
These two successful investors preach a similar message. Cash flow (not cash) is king.
Most investors buy stocks or a house, hoping it will go up in price so they can sell it later on for more money.
This is similar to raising cows for beef, where you will slaughter the cow when it is older.
The problem with this type of investing is that you lose the cow!
If you invest for cash flow, then it is more similar to owning a dairy farm, where you raise the cows and keep them producing milk for you, year after year.
